The Potter
Sylvia Schillings has been devoted to ceramic art for over thirty years.
After running her own studio in Hamburg for many years, she settled in Asnières-sur-Vègre in September 2023, where she founded La Poterie du Temple.
Her work is deeply inspired by traditional Japanese utilitarian ceramics.
Her pieces are guided by three essential principles: elegance, simplicity, and functionality.
Each object is designed to naturally find its place in everyday life, creating a harmonious connection between hand, material, and use.
